About Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park, located in the state of Assam, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It hosts two-thirds of the world's Great One-horned Rhinoceroses. The park crisscrossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and includes numerous small bodies of water.

A biodiversity hotspot, Kaziranga also has high density of Tigers and is home to large breeding populations of Elephants, Wild Water Buffalo, and Swamp Deer. The vast expanse of tall elephant grass and marshland makes it a unique habitat.

Safari Experience

Explore the park on Jeep safaris or Elephant back safaris to get up close with the rhinos. The park is divided into four ranges: Central, Western, Eastern, and Burapahar. The Central range is best for sighting rhinos and buffaloes, while the Eastern range is excellent for birding.
